This is what you need to know about Gabriella's:
Pros: The food is delicious and authentic. I'm an Italian-American who has visited Italy many times, and this place serves good Italian food. The ambience is lovely and unique. There is usually an old film playing in one of the dining areas (see pic). If you are not sure about which dish to order, your server will give you an honest assessment of the entree you're contemplating (if they don't think you will like it they will offer an alternate dish you may prefer). They also have an excellent selection of wines and beers.
Cons: The reviews about having to wait when there are seemingly several empty tables are accurate. It seems the main problem here is with the hostess, as the only delays I've experienced have come from the time we enter until seated; once the server takes over, I've always had excellent service.
